no my parents taught me to read and any other words i learned on my own
math? my bitch ass teachers didnt have time to make sure i was caught up or even comprehending what the fuck they were on about, they were too busy giving me and other kids censures when we asked eachother what the fuck to do. my dad basically tutored me after school and thats the only way i knew wtf was even going on in math
school taught me that i had to learn two languages, not including english, at once on a deadline and if i wasnt good enough at gaining knowledge that gets harder the older you get then i deserved to get giggled at in class
shit basically school taught me that there was only one way to succeed in life and if you didnt do it that way you were a failure, other people were failures, and wouldn’t amount to anythin school just taught me how to function in a standardized individualistic environment without asking any questions

this was in response to someone saying that cecil is, for all we know, a voice on a radio in a town we know nothing about, distribution-wise (even though cecils multiple mentions of carlos’ dark skin could be an indication that that is strange in night vale, or simply him going on about how perfect he finds it), and that people arent being purposefully racist or even possibly whitewashing just because they imagine him white

Those hummingbirds are just an example of LOFAF’s fauna, and only appeared for Jade’s ascension, as she was in her land when she was placed on her quest bed.
They’re pointed out in the picture because, as Hussie does, he repurposed a previous page, like this one;
There’s always something pointed out to being everywhere, there’s also another one pointing tiny dice.
The hummingbirds are there because they are just there, in her land.
They didn’t appear for John, who is another character we saw ascend, instead there were fireflies, which is part of the fauna of his land.
There’s no relevance to the hummingbirds, and even if there were, Karkat’s not a space player, and why would they appear when Karkat wasn’t on a Quest Slab, anyway?
Also- what heroic deed?
Karkat didn’t jump in front of Kanaya, Jane was going for him in the first place as an example of her Life powers for Kanaya. If she wanted to kill Kanaya, she’d simply use her life powers, as Jade literally just explained.
There’d be no point in stabbing her.
I think you guys are really grasping at straws when it’s not even warranted; Jade literally got done explaining how Jane can bring people back to life.
