The lynching of Jesse Washington.

Washington was beaten with shovels and bricks, was castrated, and his ears were cut off. A tree supported the iron chain that lifted him above the fire. Jesse attempted to climb up the skillet hot chain. For this, the men cut off his fingers.

Jesse was 15.

1916.

This is only one of the many images I see when I think of racism.

White followers and white people in general: Take a long hard look at this picture. Take a long hard look at the spectators to this abhorrent crime. The people who were behind the gruesome death of this 15 year old boy.

This is why Black people cannot just ‘get over it’.

This is why we are ‘whining’ and ‘complaining’ so much.

This is why you, white people, cannot say the word, nigger.

More fucking reblogs.

No you can’t touch my hair.

No you can’t say NIGGA, IDGAF if the rappers do.

Stay in your lane.

And so many of my white followers are going to ignore this post like they ignore any other black culture post I make.

Girl who watched her father be shot to death by police grows up to become mother who watched her son be shot to death by police

On July 4, Icarus Randolph woke up in a bad mental place.

The 26-year-old Marine veteran had served in Iraq and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, his family says.

That afternoon, he became a casualty on his mother’s front lawn when a Wichita police officer shot him in front of his family.
It was supposed to be a good day at the family home on East Clay, near Rock and Lincoln. Randolph’s mother planned a cook-out. But when Beverly Allen returned from the store, her son’s eyes told her he was upset. She knew it was serious enough to call for help and ended up talking to a 911 dispatcher.

The purpose that day, his family says, was to get help for him. Instead, they say, the two police officers sent to the home allowed the situation to escalate. One officer – the one who fired the shots – spent crucial minutes arguing with the family in the small front yard when he should have been trying to diffuse things before Randolph came out of a door, says his older sister, Ida Allen.

The family disagrees with the police account, saying Randolph didn’t run or charge at the officer, but walked. It is the latest shooting by a Wichita police officer to raise questions about how police respond to mentally ill people.

When Randolph’s mother moved forward, the officer “aimed his gun at her and said, ‘Get back, or I’ll shoot you too.’”

Although “a knife was reportedly found near” Randolph’s body, the claim says, “none of the family saw it in his hand when he came out of the house before he was shot.”

July 4 is Ida Allen’s birthday. Now, it is the day that she saw her brother get shot.

“The irony of it all,” she said, “is now we all suffer from PTSD. …

“That didn’t have to happen the way it did that day.”             /source/

I am 100% sure that the cops completely guilty for what happened. Firstly, for what fuck they started to argue with the family, who asked them for help? Second, they were taught how to deal with mentally ill people, not to harm them, but these morons ignore all this. Because the cops do not care for the safety of us, as citizens, they only care about their own safety. That’s disgusting … It is totally unfair …

Yesterday’s story of the elderly NYC man who was beaten bloody by police for jaywalking today gets a tragic companion from Philadelphia:

A 16-yr-old African American boy was sexually assaulted by a police officer during a “stop and frisk” pat-down. The assault was committed with such violence that the youth’s testicles were literally ruptured.

Now, Darrin Manning of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania may never be able to father children, according to the doctors who performed surgery on his virtually destroyed testicles.

Darrin was a star basketball player with no criminal history to speak of. He was a straight-A student who never got into any sort of trouble. He was with his teammates heading to a game right after school when he encountered an officer who decided he was “suspicious” and needed to be subjected to local “stop and frisk” procedures.

Though no official reason has been given for the stop and frisk, Darrin and the other (uniformed) members of the basketball team who were stopped suggest it was because they were wearing scarves over their faces to protect against the extreme cold Philadelphia, like much of the country, has suffered this winter.

Darrin was put in handcuffs. When the officer began “frisking” him, they grabbed hold of Darrin’s genitals so hard, pulled and twisted, that the teen’s genitals literally tore off.

“I felt the officer reach and grab my butt. Then the officer grabbed my testicles and squeezed again and pulled down. And that’s when I heard something pop, like I felt it POP,” Manning said.

The incident has left the 16-year-old with felony charges of assault and resisting arrest.

“I’m just grateful that they just didn’t kill him,” said Darrin’s mother.

the police are out of fucking control

I’m so sorry America still exists

Jesus.

Holy fucking shit it’s like they’re not even trying to hide that they’re demonizing black people

Smh

This is *exactly* how they reported lynchings back in the day. They’d justify them based on saying the Black person was a criminal. Just history repeating itself. Very little has changed.

New Yorker Tyeesha Mobley was at a gas station near her Bronx apartment with her two sons when she caught the older boy, aged nine, stealing $10 out of her purse. Thinking this was a good opportunity to teach him a lesson about honesty and consequences, she called the police, asking them to help her communicate the seriousness of stealing.

When the police arrived, however, Mobley’s Arrested Development-style lesson quickly escalated into a terrifying situation. Three of the four officers who arrived at the gas station apparently understood that this was a lighthearted call.

“They started asking Tyleke what did he take,” said Mobley. “He told them. And about three officers was joking around with him, telling him, ‘You can’t be stealing, you’ll wind up going in the police car.’”

The fourth cop, however, had different ideas. He began yelling: “You black b——es don’t know how to take care of your kids … why are you wasting our time, we aren’t here to raise your kid … why don’t you take your f—-ing kid and leave?”

When she tried to follow his order, Mobley says the fourth officer arrested her, refusing to give a reason. While she and her children cried for him to stop, one of the other officers attempted to intervene, saying, “We are not supposed to act like this.”

He replied, “Black b——es like that … this is how I treat them.”

After her arrest, Mobley was hospitalized for the bruises she’d sustained on her legs thanks to the fourth cop kicking her during the arrest. She successfully fought off child endangerment charges—a pretty interesting charge given that the “endangerment” in question seems to have been calling the police.

Mobley’s two children were placed in foster care for four months, where they reportedly received sub-par care. Now, having recovered her children—who have undoubtedly learned a very different lesson than the one she intended to teach—Mobley is suing the NYPD.

And, to paraphrase J. Walter Weatherman, that’s why you don’t call the police.

wow. and how does this man have a badge? He isn’t protecting and serving anything or anyone. His family will receive years of bad Karma.

ANOTHER UNARMED MENTALLY ILL BLACK MAN SHOT AND KILLED BY POLICE

The shooting happened Monday afternoon in a Dekalb County apartment complex, reports the New York Times. Anthony Hill, 27, who suffered from bipolar disorder, was having an episode and was spotted partially naked outside his home. Community members tried to calm Hill down, but after fleeing from neighbors, Hill started to speak erratically and continuously jump off his second floor terrace. After Officer Robert Olsen arrived on the scene, instead of trying to subdue him, as he was trained to, he immediately shot Anthony twice in the torso, killing him. The officer was carrying both a baton and a tazer but did not use either of them. Several witnesses are giving different accounts on the incident but they all ended with a similar question: Why was it necessary to shoot the 27 year old veteran when he was clearly unarmed and of no threat?

The answer is, it wasn’t.

Protests have already broken out and several more are in the works.

!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT THIS SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

An Unarmed Black teen was just shot dead by police on #BlackOut Day.

19-year-old unarmed teen, Tony Robinson, was shot and killed by police in Madison, Wisconsin last Friday night. According to several news sources, Madison Police Chief Koval said they received calls looking for a man who had committed battery and was jumping in and out of traffic One of the police officers, Matthew Kenny, spotted Tony and then proceeded to follow him into his apartment and forced his way in after claiming to “hear a disturbance inside”. the unarmed teen then “got into an altercation” with the Officer who then shot him 5 times in the chest, and dragged him out to the street while he bled out. He was later rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Large Protests have already begun in Madison and are quickly spreading all over.

A new Iraqi immigrant was shot to death in Dallas, Texas while taking pictures of snow. He came to America for a better life…They say there’s no evidence that it was a hate crime but I mean come on. If it wasn’t a hate crime, what was it?

so FUCKING infuriating that white supremacists are getting away with these “alleged” hate crimes and murdering innocent people trying to better theirs and other people’s lives. like they move here for a better life, to escape terrorism and danger, only to be murdered while being amazed and seeing snow for the first time and touching snow for the first time. he was shot for the wonderment of nature inciting curiosity within him and his need to capture it. he was killed because someone saw that happening and felt fear and anger and hatred instead of love and compassion and understanding. he died because white supremacy is still rearing it’s ugly, intolerant head with movies like American Sniper. he died because of ignorance. He died in vain and that is unacceptable.

This is just ugh 😔
