watch as this poll gets split evenly 4 ways lmao
my god some people here have honed their concept of social justice down to buzzwords and a complete lack of nuance
i just went ice skating for the first time in over a decade and i didnt fall once!!
my mind must have delved right back to my rollerblading days and worked overtime to get me able to cross the middle of the rink and go fast
i was also with some people who were cosplaying yuuri yuri and victor and they actually knew how to skate so that was rad as fuck!!
oh lmAO ive dived deep into the back of my blog and i just remembered that i used to call my personal posts ‘miney time’ instead of minerambles thats so cute
does anyone else have mini mini depression states in between finishing your latest art project and starting a new one?
it hits me hard ;_;
i just got sad and bored enough to clean doors because my laptop is a potato but i just remembered!! i have!!! a playstation!!
i just had anchovies on my pizza and i cant believe ive lived 23 years so deprived
re: people being salty that theres not been a huge focus on lance and hunk in the two seasons of voltron we have
theres??? confirmed 6 seasons???? that are planned?? calm down
lmao i went downstairs and my mom is watching 13 reasons why and the scene i walked into was of this straight white boy straightsplaining to a possible closeted lesbian with gay dads that its the 21st century what are you so afraid of
and while her responses are passably written- ‘i had gay dads since preschool, where i was the only one! and you dont know how much shit they get already!’ the narrative seemed to clearly portray whiteboy clay mcgee as in moral right here because his girl died
i find this growing trend of telling people not to tag posts you reblog a certain way (eg with a certain ship name, or nsfw themes, etc) interesting
like i cant really put it in a category of good or bad, exactly, possibly because ive never felt that way about my own posts, its just interesting
it really brings into question how much you own what you create once you put out it out in the world, and to what extent other people’s tags are something you can police, instead of that persons own interpretation and organization of what they see
like maybe you vehemently hate a ship and you drew something that you see as entirely platonic, but someone else on the internet sees it and thinks of it in a romantic context because nuance- do you have the right to tell them what they can and cant tag a post they reblog as?
or what if youre sex-repulsed and post something that gains a kind of fame and someone reblogs it with a tag that may be jokingly suggestive, for their and their followers’ own amusement- do you have the right to tell people who reblog your stuff to not make those comments even if theyre not directed at you?
honestly, i dont know, because there are times i see people try to police tags on their posts that i 100% agree with, such as telling people not to misgender them in the tags when they reblog their selfies
so basically im wondering- when is it simply protecting your original interpretation, and when does it become imposing your will upon other people’s?
lmao i keep trying to see the appeal of twitter but everytime i go on there i just stare at my empty dash in confusion
is this how it was when i started this blog for the first time?? i dont even remember how i found people to follow i just did
there is no greater joy than making someone else ship what you ship
yknow whats weird
my dad taught me long division when i was like in primary school but then it turned out to be zero use whatsoever so i purged the knowledge from my mind and only now remembered that i did that
saw someone tag my garrison boys as good shit so i punched the air and subsequently piledrived my elbow into the table
