he totally forgot that he hadnt actually asked keith out yet before he left earth and had been thinking he had a bf waiting for him back home the whole time – theyd been so naturally close that hed felt like they were already a Thing, which keith was utterly oblivious to, because its keith and why would i just assume that matt?? yeah i thought it was kind of weird when you dipped me and kissed my hand before you left for kerberos but i thought it was a joke!! what do you MEAN feelings that neednt have been spoken???? how else would i kNOW?

and thats how keith, being given the most clear sign of interest anyone could ever get from another person, ended up being the one to ask matt out like two years into their apparent extreme long-distance relationship
