HAHAHAHA, we wouldn’t even send the snow plows out for that here.

Cities like this aren’t prepared. They don’t have plows and salt service when an average year’s snowfall is only about two inches. This is the kind of snow that freezes roads, and when it melts it refreezes. This storm came quicker and harder than predicted with no real way to get people out and home safely. The governments in the south say something like “We should have staggered it, gotten the kids out first, then private, then government” but when the weather’s crazier than normal, unexpected and quick, nobody’s going to want to wait, everyone wants to go home now.

And then when big rigs jack knife, when cars slide uncontrollably because there’s ice on the streets and no extra preparation because this isn’t New England, this isn’t a place that deals with heavy snowfall often, it’s a huge problem and there’s no real recourse other than to fix the mess as it happens.

It’s nothing to mock.
