so I really like that we now know, in stressful situations, when Garnet goes all stoic, it’s actually because of internal conflict.
like I was honestly sort of upset that Garnet was giving Pearl the silent treatment, because while Pearl’s actions deserve consequence, the silent treatment is something that scares me, and it doesn’t really help fix the problem.
but she WASN’T purposefully doing that. She was INTERNALLY CONFLICTED. On the outside she might seem quiet and collected but inside there is a very very loud conversation going on. I dunno if she even noticed what she was doing tbh. Like she got really caught up on the issues Ruby and Sapphire were having.
but my main point is: when Garnet is very quiet, inside she is actually very loud.
