So I may have just uncovered something that literally all of us overlooked while we were going over everything with a fine-toothed comb like “Galra Keith confirmed????” back in season 1.
Let’s look at Sendak for a moment.

Specifically @aquaburst07 has pointed out this is the commander’s uniform- Throk, their buddy with the prosthetic knife hands, Morvok and Sendak all have a variant on this uniform. (not counting Prorok here because he has a black chestpiece)
Here’s a full-body image of Sendak’s armor just so we can get a really good look. Notice the two, evenly spaced gold flashes on the chest, and how the red chestpiece ends above the waist, revealing the darker undersuit.
Look at Keith’s civilian outfit.

There are even similarities of silhouette- the detail on Keith’s pants is on the outer hip, where Sendak’s armor flares, both have the tall, slightly bulky collar. The main distinguishing detail is Keith’s has, comparatively, a lot of white- the collar, cuffs, and the stripes running the length of the arm. But white is the color associated heavily with the paladins, and Altea.
This entire dang time Keith was wearing a stealthy facsimile of a galra commander uniform.
