Not to mention Natasha I’m a trained assassin but a boy doesn’t like me so I’m distraught at the end of the film Romanoff.
I saw this post earlier today, and then I saw Age of Ultron about half an hour ago, so Imma address these one by one.
1. That is not the point of Natasha’s scene. She’s not a monster because she can’t bear children, but because she was raised from birth to be an assassin. the issue of children only came up because Banner- the male- brought it up in regards to himself. She was coming to meet him.
2. How is Thor boasting about Jane reducing her in any way? She’s nominated for a nobel prize, and she’s off doing her own thing.
3. I don’t think that was a joke line. Tony said that besides Pepper, Jarvis runs most of Stark industries. It was an informative line, but I didn’t take it as humorous or making fun of her. None of the above poked fun at them.
4. I don’t remember the witch line in the film, and she’s still a child. Showing emotions and weakness is NOT a bad thing, especially because she felt like it was all her fault for letting Tony reclaim the staff after she showed him his fear. She had a moment of understandable weakness and fear, and then she CHOSe to go kick butt. Hawkeye didn’t tell her to. He laid out her options and gave her the agency to do so. This post explains it well.
5. This is the first one that has a legitimate point. Neither of the Maximoffs should be white, period. End of discussion. Whedon messed up/
6. However, the Nazi Sympathizer part I think is wrong. It’s not exactly common knowledge in universe among civilians that Hydra, a secret organization, is a Nazi organization and even then while they ‘volunteer’ that can still mean they were coerced into doing so.
7. And? Natasha is a human being and being upset over someone you like not liking you back is a legitimate reason to be upset.
Why are all of you feminists so dead set on removing any emotional vulnerability/weakness/character flaws from the female characters???
Also, it’s important to note that neither of the Maximoff twins had ever even seen combat before the movie. Then at the end of the movie, Wanda is suddenly in the middle of a battle where the world is at stake, and she is separated from her brother- whom she’s so emphatically linked to because of her powers that his death, even when she can’t see it, causes actual physical pain- for what is probably the first time in her life.
Of course she’d need a pep talk. Anyone would need a pep talk in that situation.
And I don’t think Natasha was upset that Bruce didn’t like her back- besides, it was established that he did like her back and she knows this. Natasha’s upset because she had to betray him (by forcing him to turn into the Hulk), and now Bruce no longer trusts her. Even without the admittedly forced romance, Natasha lost the trust of one of her closest friends and knows it’s partly her fault, and you’re telling me she shouldn’t be upset about that?
(ps: tony refers to wanda as a witch during the boat scene if i recall correctly)

It’s not an issue of assassinating Hitler so much as if they have Nazi ideology. It’s been a long time since I watched Cap1 and I haven’t seen AOS, so I don’t know if they do or not. I chose to operate on the assumption that they did for the sake of argument
