Pearl is raising the child that the love of her life made with another person who she at the time hated deeply. She’s been in love with Rose for probably hundreds upon hundreds of earth years and she’s only been dead for 14. That’s gonna be hard for fucking ANYBODY. Also, she’s proven time and time again that she loves him dearly and NEWS FLASH! You can be heartbroken and still love a child. You can help raise a family and still stumble back into symptoms of your depression.
