these are my brush settings! I made the charcoal & cloud ones last night, actually. to make the cloud brush btw, you need to use one of the water brushes.

I didn’t see any many galaxy/nebula brushes floating around, so I made my own! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧  Hope someone find it helping ;v;

You have to add detail and effect by self, but it’s pretty easy!! Maybe I make tutorial on it later ;v;

I suggest detail and blend layers on luminosity or addition!! Use bright colours!

FOR BLENDING:

I suggest using a watercolour brush on following sets:

Size: 26.0

Min size: 60%

Density: 100%

Spread: 50%

(No Texture)

Blending: 50

Dilution: 50

Persistence: 80

Keep opacity: yes

Smoothing Prs: 50%

+Advanced Settings:

Quality: 2

Edge Hardness: 0

Min Density: 0

Max Dens Prs: 100%

Hard <-> Soft: 100

Dens: Yes Size: Yes Blend: Yes

FOR DETAILING:

I suggest using a brush on the following sets:

Size: 100.0

Min size: 3%

Density: 54%

Spread: 100%

(No Texture)

Blending: 49

Dilution: 0

Persistence: 80

Reblog for a chance to win a free brush set!
Hello, Digital Artists - my sampler pack has now been updated in my main shop so that it is consistent with my Creative Market offering. This set contains 8 of my best brushes from my larger sets to give people a really good sampling of what my brushes can do. For only $4, you can have 8 powerful natural media brushes: pencil, inks, gouache, watercolor, and oils. These brushes have been changing the way over 8000 digital artists around the world draw and paint - join the crowd!

Thanks for your support, and as always, I will select three random Tumblr users who reblog this post and award them a free set.

And speakin of FREE, remember: I have three fantastic ‘pay what you want’ brushes in the shop right now - Pastel Palooza, Wet & Wild Watercolor, and Mr. Natural (a wonderful inking brush). Check them out!

Happy drawing and happy painting, everybody.

brush presets two: painting

I literally use middle flat acrylic brushes for everything

the midline is a setting that was circulating around tumblr like half a year ago, the two derivatives are my own though.

The ‘Sweet Desu Jesus’ Pen from the last set is also used to refine details out

there’s other miscellaneous brushes that I have that I end up using as accents but they’re not settings I made myself and, like the midline acrylic, they’ve been circulating for like half a year so I’d prefer not to throw them in here. UuU

!!!EDIT!!! oopsies i forgot to include the advanced settings for the crayon tool„, , oops u-u

(im reposting this from my main!) (click for full.)

ANYWAYS SO YEAH THOSE ARE THE BRUSHES I USUALLY USE?? ill type up a little bit about each (also not shown here is the binary tool which i use for pixelling!! its pretty„, basic though i dont really have any special settings for it or anything + the blur tool which ive edited and i meaN if anyone wants it later i can like. make something omg)

Pencil - I use this for anything with outlines that dont look weighed??? I almost always use it at size 4 but sometimes ill use it at size 2!! (for any scribbly drawings i do haha)

Brush #1 - this is.…. . such an old brush omg its taken me long to get it like that buT its really nice to use for soft shading?? not so much blending stuff though ahh unless you like the hard difference between two colours which is usually what im going for? USUALLY before using this tool ill use the fancy outline one to lay flat colours in so i can get everything at 100% opacity

Brush #2 - ThIS… is sort of similar to the other brush but as you can clearly see it has a different brush shape ff!! its also like. a bit better for blending although i dont usually use it for blending?? I dont use it a whole lot but i used it in the most recent drawings ive made (specifically the bec noir drawing that i did with the scar on the wrong side!!) but its really cool to use if you need like a simple gradient background to look a bit cooler. its neat.

Fancy Outline - USED„, PROBABLY THE MOST OF ALL THESE its what i use to line, colour, cel shade, doodle, etc. with!! Its really similar to the brush that squeedgemonster uses except it is a bit different because i have the edge hardness turned to zero and i have the Hard <-> Soft set at either 32 or lower!!!! But seriously while it does make really nice lineart it is REALLY REALLY good for colouring in small spaces since you can draw fairly thin lines in and also draw thick ones too :3 its cool. i really love this brush ok!!!! its like one of my favourites ive ever used.

Crayon - I„ RECENTLY CHANGED THIS ONE A TAD but not by much??? I sometimes use it for blending or crayon-like outlines!! i dont use it a whole lot either though but i still like it. Also while i do have blend on for mine you can just set it to zero if you dont want it to blend?? it blends pretty nicely though i think!

THATS„, BASICALLY IT sorry this was a really long response omg!! ALSO the symbols below each brush setting show what kind of brush i made so i could use them?? so make sure if you want to use any of these that the brush you are creating has the same symbol uwu (the crayon and brush ones are the same type of brush! i just named them differently ff)
