i used to draw a lot of mers in school and id made them have only the smallest kind of boob-shaped lumps fully covered by scales and shit because while evolving to have a 'womanly' figure would make sense in an anglerfish light kind of way in that its to bait prey aka human males having nipples made no sense in any way at all unless they were mammals and i just wasnt rolling that way at all
