its a lot like homestuck. like, a lot. as in inspired by. but it def does its own thing and its really good
In true homestuck style, the author has mastered irreverent shenanigans combined with incredible pathos
It’s about this cat person named Katia Managan in a fantasy world (its the one from the Elder Scrolls video games, but that’s not that important) who wants to be a wizard and is afraid of kings. and she is so cute
More like Cutie-a Managan, amirite
And she’s a perennial screwup who left her homeland to start her life anew. It doesn’t work. Except it does. Basically it’s about a woman who’s never done anything but fail, and the universe seems to work against her but she still manages to push forward. And it’s just. Really good. Also theres this huge cosmic mystery going down or something but that plays second string to one of the bravest realest characters ever getting her life together for the first time since she was a little girl and had her first King Nightmare.
It also includes the single slickest piece of javascript animation I have ever seen. Like, seriously, it’s amazing.
