but nearly every week (if not every FEW DAYS) I will get men— usually in their thirties and lower forties— messaging me, telling me how attractive they think I am and wondering if I’d like to chat.

last time this happened, I literally copied and pasted from my public profile the statement that I do not want older men messaging me. and the guy said, “you didn’t ignore me :)”, and I think this says a lot about the older population of men. they are hungry for young women’s bodies no matter what they say. and even if they don’t contact me, I will see that some older men will CONTINUOUSLY visit my profile, which is beyond disconcerting. even scarier still is when they are rejected, their red-hot anger can be felt through the screen, as they call me an “ugly cunt” and claim “I wouldn’t hit on you in a million years, dream on bitch”… even though they were the ones who initiated an unwanted conversation with me, they were the ones who tried to charm their way into my pants even though I specifically asked them not to do that

the fact that this has happened so many times, the fact that men twice my age, some men OLD ENOUGH TO BE MY FATHER (who I might add is in his SIXTIES) are thirsting after me and other girls my age is absolutely disgusting and it makes me feel so frightened because if that’s what men on the internet are thinking— that their desire for young women is of more importance than her level of safety and comfort— then God knows what men you pass on the street or through the store or ANYWHERE could be thinking

my fear of men is completely justified, so thank you to all the creeps who have messaged me, you validate my point every single time you come in contact with me

And this is why I don’t create profiles on sites like these.
