One day, we passed by Mel and she was wearing a cheongsam top (you know, the one with the mandarin collar). My first thought was that SJWs would totally attack her if they saw this, but it turns out Jenny took her to Chinatown and they bought it for her together. We complimented her top and moved on.

In Japan, it’s normal to see people wearing kimonos, but in America, you’d get made fun of for wearing ethnic clothes in you’re ethnic (if you’re white, then it apparently makes you “cultured” and “high fashion”) ((this example is not as prevailent with kimonos, but is applicable to most cases of cultural approlriation, mainly headdresses and black hairstyles)).

America has a history of monstly white people discriminating against non-white people and asian people, while Japan (who has certainly experienced racism, just not the exact same as America) has not had that experience.
