Oppression is cooking being “women’s work,” while the overwhelming majority of top restaurant chefs are male.

Oppression is fashion being a “silly girl thing,” while the top earning designers and CEOs in fashion are male.

Oppression is reducing women to consumers profiting a male system, even in fields that we supposedly dominate.

this is so fucking important.

  11. error-707-cannot-erase-memory said: Are used for women because we shave our legs too, unlike most men who shave typically just their face. We also have much smoother guards around them, which acts as the shaving gel usually. Our products often have more of a flowery scent, which costs more because of different extracts needed. Plus, everyone has taxes. Just like for buying condoms, soap, toothbrushes, ect. The amount of sales tax you pay depends on what city you live in.
  12. error-707-cannot-erase-memory said: No, that’s not oppression. Oppression is being forced to have a male guardian outside of your home and being forced to obey his commands. Cooking used to be considered a women’s thing because men were often out working in factories or office jobs until much more recently. The housewife is an outdated model and isn’t really actually a used model anymore. The pink tax is a myth. Women’s products cost more because it costs more to make them. Different types of razors

Oppression is PINK TAX where women’s items are taxed way more than men’s items–even if it’s the exact same formulation,...
