i have a theory that midirojima just doesnt have lube. 

the only characters that ever use lube in either dmmd or dmmd re:c are noiz and mink, the only two characters to not actually be from midorijima. like i guess virus and trip left midorijima in their bad end but i dont feel like they would bother anyway so im taking that one with a grain of salt

a+ to noiz and mink but realistically, wouldnt a 23 year old man with prior sexual experience at least know about the existence of lube??? like when noiz pulled it out in re:c and aoba didnt even know what it was?? im just sayin even in yaoi land where no one uses lube anyway a 23 year old guy should at least know what it is. know of its existence

koujakus like 29 and has been with countless women, if aoba doesnt know what this is koujaku certainly should?? inb4 “yeah but that doesnt mean he’d use it” we’re talking about koujaku .koujaku. cooljaku (thats me). koujaku and aoba.  youre telling me if koujaku knew about the existance of lube he wouldnt use it on precious aoba. ok

clear and ren also arent rly in the loop here but im letting it slide bc clear doesnt know how umbrellas work and ren is a dog

so basically no one in midorijima has heard of lube. given what we know, midorijima can be classified as a no casual lube awareness zone. maybe some people know about it but not like the common person. maybe theres lube in platinum jail. maybe toue has a lube monopoly. that’s actually what im getting at here. 

it seems like at least part of the outside world is aware of lube, though. at least, given two outside countries with no classified in-game relation to each other(germany and around the colorado/new mexico region of north america) . why not midorijima??

as i said before, lube monopoly. what im thinking is, toue has jacked the lube prices up so high only platinum jail residents can afford it. no one in the old residents district even bothers talking about it anymore since it’s so expensive.

or maybe toue is doing this on purpose to make the old resident areas angry? no lube = discontent, anger. an unhappy population. less unity. less inspiration. less chances of revolution. that seems kind of illogical though because anger = more possibility of revolution. im not certified enough to talk about psychological reasons for revolution. maybe toue is just an asshole. 

anyway, conclusion is:

• if youre suddenly in dmmd world and want lube, germany + the colorado/new mexico region of north america are 2 certified lube locations 
• lube monopoly
