Not the ones getting off on beating and abusing women, nope, definitively not the ones sexualizing rape, torture, oppression and slavery. Nu-uh, its the people with morals who are the worst. Pfft.

Yeah I’m going to call this one a serious lack of empathy on your part.

YEAH SURE. The fuckface who defend sexualization and trivialization of abuse,slavery and rape isn’t the one lacking empathy or anything. Nah, Fouck outta here, you disgusting piece of shit. I can’t help that you get off on women’s abuse, can I? Don’t expect people with morals not to side-eye the fuck out of you for that, seriously. 

Which is more apathetic? Consent, or vitriol?

…I’m going to have to quietly pop in here and say that the inability to separate consensual kinks- such as those ones held by people who indulge in mutually agreed-upon and similarly enjoyed sexual power play and roleplay situations which may represent limited or loss of consent (which I have been told can sometimes be cathartic or therapeutic to sufferers of ill treatment, as it reaffirms their sense of control over the traumatic scenario)- from violent intent to dehumanize is a very important part of recognizing who’s hurting others and who isn’t. 

Some people are into sexual play involving humiliation, punishment, control, and the like, but the important part of it is that it’s still play, and it’s still consensual and can be put to a stop at any time by a partner if they grow uncomfortable with the proceedings.

Genuine acts of dehumanization and harm do not come with that grace and understanding, and any sexual element to them is usually rooted in exerting power over another human being, regardless of the act itself. 

Being a good and moral human being is picking your goddamn battles: turn that rage on things that are actually hurting people and keep your nose out of other people’s bedrooms.
