Earl Sampson, is filing racial profiling charges against the Miami Gardens Police Department. For the last 4 years at least one time a week Earl has been stopped by Miami Gardens police, as a result he has been questioned at least 258 times, searched over 100 times, and arrested 62 times with a majority of the citations taking place at the store he is employed at!

This case goes to show that the police presence in the black community isn’t there to protect and serve, it’s there to harass and arrest. It’s a common trend for police to harass Black Men daily because we are viewed as a threat since childhood. You don’t really hear many cases of racial profiling happening to White men. Actually when they compare Racial profiling cases between Black Men and White Men, the numbers will show you that Black Men are HIGHLY likely to be racially targeted by the police more than anyone else.
