Things that ARE okay:
- Portraying Tony and Notebook as cisgendered heterosexuals
- Portraying Tony and Notebook as genderfluid asexuals
- Portraying Tony and Notebook as any gender identity or sexual orientation
- Preferring one portrayal of Tony and Notebook’s gender identity or sexual orientations over another
- Telling people to tag their DHMIS and Padlock
- Being uncomfortable with a portrayal of the relationship between Tony and Notebook for one reason or another
- Telling people that their portrayal of the relationship between Tony and Notebook makes you uncomfortable for one reason or another
- Encouraging people to not use words that may be seen as slurs when describing a portrayed relationship between Tony and Notebook
- Portraying Tony and Notebook in any sort of relationship that is consensual on both sides
Things that are NOT okay:
- Verbally attacking people for their portrayal of Tony and Notebook’s gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship
- Threatening people for their portrayal of Tony and Notebook’s gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship
- Saying other people’s uncomfortable feelings about a portrayal of Tony and Notebook’s relationship are unjustified
- Denying people who ask you to tag your DHMIS and Padlock
That’s pretty much all there is to it.
