• both kind of forgotten about a lot
• both have a reputation for being friendly and kinda weird
• both known for extreme weather
• both have frighteningly terrible politicians that no one outside the country seems to know about
• both disgustingly racist towards aboriginal peoples
• no one talks about the problems though
