You know, I really love MLP but these past couple episodes have felt much to catered to the brony fandom. The Super Pony episode was really bland and I really didn’t find it all that interesting. Which sucks because I was kinds looking forward to that one. And then Flutterbat…? That episode actually pissed me off a little bit? Twilight was supposed to be unbias in the whole things since well i dunno, she’s a princess now?
I hope the next episode isn’t catered too much to the bronies..
funny thing is, i watch a few of the brony reviewers (despite rarely watching the show??? i dont even) and it looks like quite a few bronies arent liking the turn season 4 has made, either! ironic, huh?
Its because the episodes are blatantly aimed towards them!!! I liked the beginning ones with Luna and Celestia and the fashback stuff (minus the inaccuracy of Luna’s hair) but everything after that was crap! This is all supposed to be leading up to the chest thing that bloomed at the tree! I wanna know about that! And about Twilight probably getting that old castle! Superhero ponies? God it was just such a letdown. And the flutterbat one didn’t really go anywhere. vampire fruit bats? And Fluttershy apparently couldn’t communicate with them? I would have been much mor interested if like, there was an actual “other side” to the bats. bluh
what about twilight being a -princess- now, like holy shit, thats kind of a thing! i know that people didnt want that because ‘itd change her and the show’ but she’d at least need to keep it in mind when she acts, every now and then? the bat thing, from what i understand, could have been a choice place for twilight to either give them the benefit of the doubt, showing her growth, or at least show some neutrality and not get on the bandwagon (because if the bats were such a bad thing in the long run, wouldn’t celestia, or, -someone- have done something about it? and removing their urge to eat apples seems kind of….cruel, potentially)
THOUGH!! ive noticed that twilight is now taller than the other ponies, which i thought was kind of neat, and weird
