You know, I followed a lot of the Frozen controversy and now seeing the movie…I don’t really see how it’s in any way anti-feminist. It actually feels very feminist.
Yes, we do need more POC princesses and just characters in Disney movies in general that are POC. But that’s a different problem than what I’ve generally seen brought up on tumblr.
I’m going to talk about Act 3 a good bit so here’s a read more for those who haven’t seen it and don’t want to be spoiled- and I really suggest going to see it and experience the main twists yourself.
Reblogging this because it seems that the Frozen debates will just not die and I’m really tired of seeing people focusing only on what Frozen didn’t do instead of looking at some of the great things it did do.
