"stop saying misandry isn’t real"
*post that blatantly ignores the definition of sexism which is based on a system of institutionalized oppression including workplace and media discrimination while listing actual problems that affect men that can be solved with feminism and proper sex education*
ha feminism hasn’t helped men in any way, shape or form. don’t kid yourself.
Meanwhile, feminists in India successfully fought to keep rape as only being something a man can do to a woman.
Meanwhile, the Duluth model of domestic violence sees men and basically only men arrested for domestic violence, even when they’re being abused, simply because they’re physically larger, so her swinging a bat at him is “pre emptive self defense.”
Meanwhile, feminists are pushing to get women, and only women out of jail so that they can take care of their kids.
"But that’s just the patriarchy backfiring on men!" Jesus fucking christ no. If a patriarchy was to exist, why the fuck would a law be created that disproportionately disadvantages men who are being abused or sexually assaulted? Why would the UK define rape in such a way that you have to be a man to commit it if they were in fact a system designed for men to be in power? Would not men’s issues be considered a higher priority than that of women?
I’ve yet to see a solid argument that “misandry is really just misogyny” that makes logical sense, but if you’d like to try and be the first go ahead.
And I’m pretty sure “institutionalised media oppression” is impossible.
