people who receive diagnosis of disabilities or terminal illnesses are often abandoned by their partner…. u aren’t perfect anymore, ur inconvenient, ur a downer, u aren’t a ‘long term goal’ anymore… i am so appreciative of dw for showing this situation in an explicitly critical light without forcing the burden of understanding on to the sick person to ‘forgive’…. shiro deserves better and he went on to achieve his dreams!!!!!!! there’s life after a diagnosis and if that one asshole doesnt think you are worth it there is someone out there who does!!!!!!!!!!
