With Haggar remembering Lotor and Krolia’s formal introduction as a character in one season, I’m noticing a fandom trend that when a character is a mother, this is treated as a characterization in and of itself, and not something that exists in tandem with their other traits.

Being a mom does not make a character more like a stereotypical housewife. And Krolia in particular I feel like is the most recent example of seeing a character as a mother causes people to view them as this soft, emotionally nurturing presence.

That said, this turned into an analysis on Krolia and how she’s come across in her introductory episode.
