We are RevHOLT, a canon-adjacent Matt Holt zine!
With Season 4 on the loom, we’ve decided the VLD Matt community should get a chance to showcase some Matt love! (Follow us here or on Twitter.)
The zine concept is this: a collection of fic and art about Matt Holt in a shared canon that is based on the Voltron: Legendary Defender universe. The fanworks will be created collectively and collated in a single publication.
There will be five sections in the zine: Pre-Garrison, Garrison, Kerberos, Prison, and Future. We will be assigning creators a section to create fanworks in. All fanworks should more or less be arguably canon (for example, there’s no evidence that Matt wasn’t a black market bitcoin dealer ;D) so that at the end, we have an anthology of Matt fanworks that relate to one another.
We’re looking to work with at least 25 creators (roughly 5 writers), but that number is very flexible depending on how many people apply.
