as you are probably inevitably aware, hypable’s sheith vs kl@nce poll has gone up and will continue to be up for about 48 more hours (until August 30th 3:30 PM EDT).

how to vote: turn off adblock, follow their tumblr post link, and place your vote! you can only do it once per IP address. 

how we’re going to handle it:  

• we have set up the original tumblr post from hypable to be reblogged 5 times between now and the end of the polling period to help ensure all our followers see it. 
• we will not reblog anything else about the poll except the original hypable post. at least 30 posts went up in the tag in the last couple of hours about it; nobody needs that many links gathered in one place.
• we’re zeroing out the kl@nce negativity. if a ship is mentioned in passing as not as good as sheith, with the focus being on sheith itself, we will sometimes reblog those posts with a ‘#[ship] negative’ tag. no negative posts about kl@nce will be permitted at all during this hypercompetitive time.

suggestions for taking care of yourself:

• don’t forget that it’s okay if sheith loses. sheith is not as popular as kl@nce. It is very likely that sheith will lose this hypable battle. But that’s okay! it doesn’t make sheith any less beautiful or make any sheith fans less amazing.
  
• don’t let the hate get to you. no matter which ship wins, the jerks in fandom will use it as an excuse to be nasty and unpleasant to the losers, acting as if it matters who wins. we’ll be ignoring them and sharing only the positive stuff, of course, but if you wander into the tags don’t make yourself miserable.
• look at beautiful sheith content.  there’s so much of it right now with the big bang and sheith month!
