How Harry Potter and ‘The Dark Tower’ have messed up millennials

So his guy has a new theory about why young people these days are ~so very entitled~: Harry Potter being Too Special And Good At Things made us think we could also have it all without working!  Though he only describes in detail events from the first book, which arguably gives Harry the easiest time of it.  So if he’s only read that one, that might explain the misunderstanding.

Good job, you have successfully described one of the differences between two stories!  I think the argument that one is better than the other because of that needs a little more scrutiny, though.  Not least because a large fraction of kids who grew up on Harry Potter probably also enjoyed LOTR.
