I agree with this whole-heartedly. And honestly? I re-watched the show avoiding the shipping goggles and I can clearly see there is no romantic attraction - the undying love and the most chemistry between characters??? is just growth of beautiful platonic relationship. Even if the creators intended a canon ship, I think it should be avoided because of the fandom.
