My favorite scene in the entirety of Voltron has to be in Season 1 Episode 2 when Keith and Lance are doing the electric maze trust exercise and Lance starts complaining about how Keith is the one guiding him and it sounds like Lance is just being an asshole but if you really pay attention to what Keith told him to do (”two steps forward, turn right, and take three steps in that direction”)-
-Keith was leading him into a dead end. Like if you needed proof that these two are both equally as petty here it is

Lmao then the point of the exercise was probably that the two of them would realize that their maps are different after enough collisions with the wall and call Coran out on it– the trust portion is that the teammate in the maze would trust that their teammate with the map is giving the right directions and not actively sabotaging them.
But since they’re both so petty, Lance assumes Keith is trying to fuck him over and Keith assumes Lance just isn’t following his directions right (which he actually was!). These two were such disasters back then oh my god
