boys–love–boys:

yknow with this split movie coming out i just wanna restate that all people with DID are wonderful

people with DID aren’t inherently dangerous and the way media (especially the horror genre) portrays them is absolutely disgusting and ableist and just incorrect

people with DID deserve support and actual representation and not this ableist garbage that portrays them as nothing but dangerous villains

  5. tobiotic said: Hey. I just want to say that the movie made me think abouth DID very much. Its not good that it was in the horror genre, because they could made the last alter very aggressive and creepy. It is not realistic and not a good representation. People with DID dont deserve the fear and all the bad things which theyre facing now. Even before the Movie. James McAvoy did a good job, presenting different people and the struggle between them. But dont hate him cuz of this Movie
