Can we talk about Haiti? The fact that their death toll are in the 100s right now and just yesterday it was 65. The fact that they STILL haven’t recovered from the earthquake in 2010 despite the “tons of money” the U.S. sent to rebuild Haiti, and the people sent to rebuild homes.
You don’t see any trending tags of #PrayForHaiti or Facebook suggesting you put the Haitian flag in your profile pic to support and asking for donations or even see it as a small segment for a news station.
Haiti just isn’t important enough right? Smh.
Death toll is now in the 800s. This morning it was 300. #PrayForHaiti
I’m all for praying, but I’d also like to find some legit places to actually donate money.
