krusca:

it is canon that tony stark will forever blame himself for ultron when in fact he was just as mentally manipulated by wanda like clint by loki or bucky by HYDRA

and the worst part is he will never know he WAS mentally manipulated. he never saw wanda mind mojo him, he’ll chalk up his vision of the avengers dead and earth about to be invaded as one of his fucked up PTSD flashbacks/hallucinations. he’ll forever think of himself as the monster who created an evil killer robot when in fact, both tony and the audience will never know if he WOULD’VE attempted to make ultron using an unknown power source if it hadn’t been for his mind being scrambled

They are both out of character in the scenes leading up to them putting the Mind Stone in Ultron. Neither of them in normal circumstances would run the risk of just sticking an unknown power source into their carefully built program. The Mind Stone is like the One Ring in Lord of the Rings - it can influence those near it, and it wants to embody.

It manipulates those around it - remember the scene in The Avengers when it twists everyone in the room to bicker with each other? It manipulated Tony into grabbing Loki’s staff at the Hydra fortress, and it worked on him through the flight back to NY. He’s under its influence when he puts the unknown power source (the Mind Stone) into the Ultron program. Wanda may have played upon his fear…

She didnt feel guilty of what SHE did. Its a recurring theme in team cap members (steve and that bullshit letter) They never feel guilty for what they did.
  13. bangtansonyeondon said: @headswithtails bruce and tony stopped working on it and left it because it had too many programming flaws and it wouldnt have worked anyway.

  15. bangtansonyeondon said: @valiha in the Mcu, she isnt Jewish. And the twins knew they worked for Hydra.
  16. bangtansonyeondon said: @spider-gwen76 exactly. It was illogical and I’m pretty sure if Wanda hadn’t messed with him, he wouldn’t have tried it. Also Bruce and Tony scraped the Ultron project a while ago so for him to re open it and try and use something that isn’t really known what it can do, seems really stupid and not like tony at all. If he was in his right mind, he wouldnt have done that.
