A lot of Black people are hurting right now. As important as it is that we talk about what’s happened in Charleston, I know how easy it is to get overwhelmed, especially when this happens to us over and over again. If your dashboard is like mine, it’s saturated with updates and commentary, and while it’s great that the information is getting out there, if you’re in need of a momentary break to regroup, I have an emergency happiness tag for such a time as this called My Favorite Things. It’s filled with humor, happiness and joy and I’ll be adding more content to it today to buff it up a bit. Please feel free to access it whenever you like. 

I’d appreciate it if y’all could reblog this–and before anyone asks, no, you don’t have to be Black–so it can reach as many people as possible, and if you have a happiness tag, include a link to it in your reblog.

This is an emotionally trying time for a lot of us, and I know I’m not the only one who could use some positivity right about now.
