Fun fact: Jake, as himself, has never spoken to the real Dirk on screen.
He has spoken to AR, and Brain Ghost Dirk.
We see Dirk send lengthy messages that Jake reads but doesn’t respond to.
The first and only time we see Jake talking to Dirk is when Jake is a Trickster.
These two have yet to have an actual conversation on screen and it’s always bothered me.
P.S. I guess the closest thing was the first time he spoke to Brain Ghost Dirk, since that was a memory of a conversation with real Dirk. But at the time we see it, it’s technically BGD, and it doesn’t go exactly the way it did originally.
