Winnipeg police looking for Native girl, 13, missing almost a month

A 13-year-old girl has been missing for almost a month and Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help.

Cherish Beaver’s family last saw her on March 9 in the West End, an area she is known to frequent.

Winnipeg police said the family didn’t report the girl missing until March 27, even though they told police they hadn’t seen her since March 9..

Police won’t say if the teen had been reported missing any other time.

Cherish Beaver is 5’4,” about 100 pounds. She’s thin with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say they are concerned for her wellbeing.
