you wouldnt believe how upset i got when i went to go look at rose references and i saw not one but a SHITLOAD of skinny roses

although for the record the rose quartz you got on the left there is, like…gem-pregnant. I mean dgmw, she’s definitely a giant beautiful plus-size lady, but if you look at her portrait above the gems’ door, her shape is a little different.

If you’re going to use that as a point of comparison, consider this, the scene where Pearl is projecting her memory of Rose, it is the same body type.

if you’re saying she also looks “pregnant” in that scene, nnnno she doesn’t.
