it’s so weird to me that you learn in school that all the women in Shakespeare times were played by men because women weren’t allowed to act and everyone goes :o but you really have cis men playing trans women… white people playing Egyptians… and nobody stops to think for a second about the implications and the erasure like I’m convinced that people hit 30 and their brains shut off entirely
