"Nickelodeon has a biracial/bisexual couple!"
"Nickelodeon has broken the barriers!"
"Nickelodeon-"
STOP!
Okay, this is going to sound a bit cruel but…
No.
They can’t have it both ways.
(There’s probably a joke there but moving on…)
Nickelodeon pulled a lot of crap when it came to Legend of Korra.
They pulled it off air and put it online.
They pushed ahead the Book 4 premiere.
They slashed the budget and put Bryke into a situation where they had to either fire several people or create a clipshow.
They paid so little attention to the show that they actually tweeted a fan edit and thought that it was the actual character.
And now Bryke and the cast/crew has once again proven themselves to be amazing by creating a wonderful finale with that breathtaking final scene.
And people are crediting Nickelodeon as a whole.
No.
That’s not right.
Nickelodeon can’t spend months distancing themselves from a show and then take the praise when the show does something groundbreaking.
It doesn’t work like that.
