Not even the presidents daughter is exempt from children of color not being able to be seen as children because of the way our bodies naturally are. Real fuckin’ gross.

I was just talking about this type of shit today with a friend at lunch. People pounce on black girl’s bodies - even the bodies of the President’s daughters, who are just trying to live their lives and get through school. Elizabeth Lauten’s racist and sexist comments are enough, but this is too much. They’re still growing! Even if they were grown, which they aren’t, this isn’t acceptable at all. And these same people who sexualize the Obama daughters will turn around and slander Michelle and demean her for her blackness and her body (which just so happened to produce the same children these people are incessantly sexualizing!).
