Pictures like this immediately get my head spinning… an older Loki, maybe he wasn’t found by Thanatos, but travelled the galaxy for hundreds of years… he became wiser, more distant to the pain that his heritage caused him. He’s a true mage now, able to bend matter to his will. 

Through some portal he steps back onto earth, remembering his brother, remembering how he was as a youth…
