Deep deep, in the translucence of the ocean’s bottom Small flowers are dozing off The melody of the sweet wind passes through a rainbow As fish play in the sky (x)

KouAo Yokai AU, where Aoba is a kannushi (shrine priest) who’s well known of his special ability in exorcism and controlling people’s mind. One day, he is asked by people in the small village to exorcist a half yōkai who commited a genocide in the village 10 years ago, they call the yōkai Koujaku. Aoba then meets Koujaku and feels a pity to him with his poor condition. Without hesitation, Aoba agreed to perform exorcism to him.
A day before the exorcism, Aoba orders the villagers to release the seals who have been bonded Koujaku. He needs to get closer to him, in order the exorcism become successful. However, when he performs the exorcism, Koujaku rejects and attacks him, causing severe wounds on Aoba’s shoulder and even his hair. The villagers worried if Aoba would never succeed in purifying Koujaku. But unexpectedly, Koujaku, who is much calmer than before, comes to Aoba. He’s crying, as if he’s regretting had wounded Aoba.
In the next day, Aoba continues to spend his time with Koujaku. He’s relieved because Koujaku has accepted him to be his side and he’s feeling that his affection to Koujaku grows even stronger. Then, the exorcising day comes, the perform finally successful, but something unexpected happened between them. Koujaku’s action made Aoba realized that they are in love with each other.
After months separated with Koujaku, (which is now a fully human) they finally meet again and Aoba surprised because how Koujaku is way different from before, he’s now a leader of a samurai march who protects Aoba’s village. Koujaku promises Aoba would always protects him and they live happily ever after.
By saying “Hating white people won’t end racism”, you are acknowledging that racism exists but hating white people is somehow worse and that racism is a lesser issue despite one clearly being far more serious than the other gee I wonder which that is. (No no, go ahead and keep changing “Black Lives Matter” to “All Lives Matter” as if you feel left out by a movement based on the extremely racist and unfair treatment of an entire group of people— a treatment that you, as a white person, are not subjected to. Actually, don’t do that. I want you to instead, whenever you have that thought, put your tongue in between your teeth and bite down really, really hard)
By saying “skinny shaming won’t end fat shaming” you’re acknowledging that fat shaming exists and that one type of shaming is worse than the other
By saying “Hating men won’t end sexism” you’re acknowledging that sexism exists but that hating men is somehow worse than sexism toward women as if the reaction to mistreatment, objectification, and discrimination worldwide and throughout history is not justified
By saying “heterophobia won’t end homophobia” you’re acknowledging that homophobia exists but that hating straight people is somehow worse than the way straight people treat people of marginalized sexualities
By saying “hating [cis] people won’t end transphobia” (stop capitalizing the whole word, dammit) you are acknowledging that transphobia exists and that hating cis people is somehow worse than the widespread hatred and mistreatment of trans people world-troiding-wide like holy shit you are not being murdered for being cis sit down. Your identity is not treated like the continual butt of a joke throughout the media, sit down.
By saying “Hate won’t end hate” you’re literally acknowledging the fact that there is hate to be hateful toward in the first place and you’re saying your hate is more legitimate than the hate directed toward you and that’s probably the most ironic and disturbing thought I have ever heard.
You are literally saying “You’re hating me for hating you and instead of actually doing something to address that problem I’d rather dismiss it because hate should only go one way and that’s from me, not to me”.
And that’s pathetic.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to today’s episode of “Name that falacy”, today’s fallacy is the Strawman, and there is no better way to learn about that than by looking at this post.
Now, the strawman is the method of missrepresenting someones point in order to make it easier to attack. Now, an example of that in an argument would be someone saying “I don’t agree with the democrats” and the opponent arguing with “So you support every single thing the republicans do? YOU HATE WOMEN”
Notice how Person A never said anything about the republican party, but Person B decided to use that as their point of attack, thus effectively strawmanning Person A’s blanket statement.
Notice something similar in this post. Notice how the original image says that simply “hate will not stop hate”, the person replying to the post instead insisted that “hate will not stop hate” actually means “so you think your oppression is worse than a marginalized group?”
Now, if I was to straw-man their post myself, I would simply say: “Look back in history, and notice that many genocides were caused by an opressed group rising up and reacting violently out of hatred for the majority. That was how the rwandan genocide happened. And because you think hate is OK against the majority, you support genocide.”
And that was today’s lesson in basic fallacies. Remember kids. Strawmanning is extremely common, and very easy to call out when you see it. Pay attention, and you too can learn how to actually argue.
I think you forget what website you’re talking to. Tumblr is full of entitled brats who can’t argue to save their lives, put feels over facts, and have zero regard for differing opinions or human life so you might just be wasting your breath here.
Still, you worded it better than I ever could.
Ladies and gentlemen and all inbetween, this is the basic message that many peacemakers in history have spread.
This makes me believe that people trying to so vehemently defend their ability to hate without judgement…leads me to believe that they don’t want equality or justice, they just want revenge.
Hating men does not end sexism, it just creates more sexism.
I am not straight, I would not hate my straight allies until they gave me a reason too.
I do not lash out at people who have done no wrong, in the desire for revenge for my own misfortunes.
And neither should you, because it helps nobody. All it does is breed more hate.
Im really glad I held out until the end because I gave on people about half way through the second commenter
it’s no wonder slytherins are all like ‘fuck the rest of you’ like fred and george weasley booed at an 11 year old who got sorted into Slytherin.

This is my sister, Taylor. Taylor is 17 years old in a IB program in high school. The IB program is very challenging, and is very hard to graduate from. The four letters above are recruitments letters from the amazing, top IVY leagues schools in the United States.
Taylor is a full African American citizen here in the United States. I couldn’t be any more proud to have an amazing sister who represents the intelligence and strength we have in our Black community today. For anyone who downgrades us into a stereotype saying how we are ” useless ” or ” ignorant ” can simply keep their disrespectful opinions to themselves. Nothing can top beauty and brains.
she got accepted into my college of choice. this needs more notes! #proud #blackexcellence
ERIC GARNERS STEP-DAD SAYS COP WHO KILLED SON DID SO IN RETALIATION BECAUSE OF ‘VENDETTA’ HE HAD FOR YEARS & COMPLAINT FILED
According to a new interview with Eric Garners stepdad, Benjamin Carr, which we have onvideo, Carr tells us that police didn’t show up that day because Garner broke up a fight or sold cigarettes; they were there because police had a history of harassing Garner. It was also confirmed with a member of Garner’s family that Eric Garner was frequently harassed by these officers, and it goes much deeper than money. Garner had actually been sexually assaulted by the NYPD, on multiple occasions. In fact, in the choking video Eric clearly says
“Every time you see me, you want to mess with me. I’m tired of it. It stops today. I’m minding my business please just leave me alone,”
Carr even says in the interview that the cops told Garner that the real reason they were confronting him was “a personal matter.” (you can see this clearly in the choking video)
A lawsuit that was just filed in November and comes from Kenneth Collins, who says in the lawsuit that he “was subjected to a degrading search of his private parts and genitals by the defendants.”
An incident where The NYPD paid out a settlement last year to two men who sued the city because Pantaleo forced them to strip naked in public as he “touched and searched their genital areas, or stood by while this was done in their presence.”
So to sum things up:
The NYPD (especially Daniel Pantaleo) have been following/frisking/stopping Eric Garner for years (So a bunch of grown men have been stalking this man for no reason)
Eric Garner stated on several occasions to families and friends that he has been sexually harassed by the very police officer whos has had THREE other sexual harassment lawsuits filed against him.
about a month before his death, Garner stated he was sick of being bullied by these police so he filed a complaint to the NYPD for an incident where they “shook him down for money ” and “sexual harassed” him (again).
After multiple tries to confirm this complaint against the NYPD by reaching out to their Staten Island precinct, and their police department they were put on hold for excessive amount of hours, hung up on, and eventually ignored all together.
Several family members and close friends of Garner say that the police were already at the scene before Eric even arrived, ready to cause trouble, and think they were there “to jump him.” because of the complaint he filed.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a detective to figure out what happened here. This wasn’t just an accident this was a plan.
I am 16. I’m dancing to my favorite pop song at my friends birthday party when a boy whose name I do not even know comes over and slaps my ass. My face flushes with redness and I sit down for the rest of the night avoiding the eyes of everyone in the room.
Later, I ask him why he thought it was okay to invade my body without my consent. He says it was a joke.
I don’t laugh.
I am 12. Every girl in my grade is dragged to the school’s auditorium, where we are told that ‘dressing like sluts’ in ninety degree will not be tolerated, and that we will get two detentions if anyone finds our clothing distracting.
Later, I find out that, while we were being lectured on our own bodies, all of the boys stayed in their homerooms and watched a movie, because ‘It’s natural for boys to get aroused, the girls are the ones that have to cover up, they’re causing a problem and taking away from the education of others.’
I don’t understand any of it.
I am 7. I stand up at bat in gym class and blatantly miss the hollow plastic ball that is thrown in my direction. The whole class bursts out laughing. ‘You hit like a girl,’ one of the boys hollers to me.
Later, I ask my female gym teacher why hitting ‘like a girl’ is a bad thing. She smiles at me sympathetically as she says ‘Honey, it just is.’
I don’t smile back.
I am a girl, and since the day I was born, my gender has become synonymous to weakness, incapability, and inadequacy.
