I was gonna answer this with excessive cursing and caps, but alright. I’m gonna learn ya a thing or two about Gamzee Makara.

But, before I go on, I would like to point out the fact that Gamrezi never fucking happened in this timeline, he blackrom hit on her and then Vriska shut it down.

Anyway.

I can’t believe that there are still people in the fandom who don’t understand this: Gamzee has two personalities. A good representation of them would be the popular symbol of theatre, the tragedy and comedy masks.

See the resemblance? Gamzee getting sawed in half like that with his two halves having the expressions of the theatre masks was symbolic of Gamzee’s dual personalities.

The dominating side of him was, obviously, the tragedy side. This was the Gamzee that did all the horrible things he is known for. It’s a completely different Gamzee; his eyes turn red or orange, his actions are murderous and sadistic, and it is the polar opposite of the other half of him, the comedy half. That is the half that likes clowns and miracles. That’s the half that is best friends with Karkat and Tavros. That is not the half that abused Terezi.

And, as far as I can tell, that is the dominant half for now, and has been the dominant half in the most recent updates.

So, basically, the real Gamzee has been the target of abuse and neglect from the other trolls, from being forced to humiliate himself and treat Vriska like a queen, to being shoved into and locked in a dark and cramped fridge for no specific reason, to all attempts he makes at filling his quadrants being completely turned down. And, on top of all that, in this timeline, he didn’t fucking do anything besides kill Equius and Nepeta. Which, I know, is fucking horrible, but lets go over the things the ‘hero’ of the upd8 has done, shall we?

Vriska Serket has:

-Paralyzed, manipulated, and abused Tavros for years.

-Stabbed and killed Tavros even after all of that

-Used Sollux to kill Aradia, traumatizing the both of them; and, you know, fucking killing someone using their flushcrush.

-Blinded Terezi

-Used mind control on countless people for her own advantage

-Killed hundreds of innocent flarpers to feed her lusus

And she doesn’t even have the excuse of having a dual personality.

But, she is being praised for ‘fixing’ everything, while Gamzee is humiliated and hurt time and time again. His character has been reduced to a laughing stock and a punching bag. 

He may be pretty clueless. He may have done bad things. He may be slightly perverted and have an obsession with clowns. But he still has fucking feelings, and he still doesn’t deserve any of this bullshit.
