so people have been talking about Peridot’s defensive reaction to Jasper pulling the destabilizer in The Return
which wouldn’t be that weird, considering it’s a powerful weapon that Peridot obviously knows how to use (she tried to use it on Steven)
but nobody has been talking about the effects we’ve seen when Jasper uses it on Garnet. her arms and legs literally split off of her body.
we know from past episodes that the way gems regenerate tends to reflect the injuries sustained. Garnet splits at the elbows and knees, and potentially the fingers since they’re concealed inside her gauntlets.
isn’t it weird that our son marty looks like that guy marty we both knew that went through a lot of trouble to hook us up for what appeared to be no personal gain whatsoever and who said all those weird things to us about us having kids together and isn’t it weird that he has a jacket that looks like that weird jacket that guy marty had that was very memorable in 1955 and isn’t it weird how how our son marty is friends with the same eccentric scientist as the eccentric scientist that that guy marty we knew was friends with whose house i went to once and isn’t it weird that we never saw that guy marty again after we got together

(Ok this one is impossible to understand for non-french people. There is a french TV show called “Fort Boyard” here. The candidates have to pass tests to get the keys of the next rooms. (by fighting opponents, or getting it in a jar full of giant spiders, or climbing a wall…) One of the tests is an old man telling a riddle: if the candidate doesn’t answer right, he drops the key in the sea and the loser has to dive to get it.)
