How old is this and why is it on my dash
i made this in 2018
I admire your dedication to period accurate historical recreation
isnt it weird how destress and distress are almost the same word but have opposite meanings
The fact that Keith and Lotor haven’t had a proper conversation yet pisses me off.
You can’t make two characters who are nearly alike in every way possible never interact with each other. I appreciate that their first interactions were them saving each other but that’s honestly not enough to sustain my keitor shipping heart.
It doesn’t even have to be romantic. I’d be content with them just being friends. Please voltron, I beg of you. Just let them talk.
Let them discover how much they have in common. Let them bond. Let them talk about the damn fact that Lotor saved Keith from sacrificing himself!
I did not hear AJ and Neil talk about how much they can get along for it never to happen in the show.
this is like genuinely a massive achievement
this is good. ah! human musics :)
i just completely forgot the name of the country norway and spent like two minutes typing ‘norwegia’ and being angry that the red squiggly line kept telling me it was wrong
Just to add, that shit also applies to POC too. Y’all aint exempt from this.
i think pidge really took a dark turn in season 5
like. it’s understandable. from the get-go it’s clear that she loves her family fiercely and is immensely dedicated to reuniting with them again. she had to learn to be a team player and put aside her search for her brother and father from the very first season so yeah by this point we all know her family’s veeerry high on her priority list
but wow. trading lotor off to zarkon in return for her dad was. morally grey if you ask me
she was willing to hand over lotor to someone she knew would kill him. she was willing to just let him die at the hands of his own father like
tbh i was a tad shocked i mean. it was heavy stuff
i was shocked that the team debated it at all. sending an unarmed prisoner, who had helped them out on multiple occasions and even saved all of their lives, to what would most likely be his doom seems a bit dark for the good guys
but pidge was willing to do it in a second
idk if i was the only one who noticed or not but
I noticed that too. Kept waiting for Lotor to say “some paladins you turned out to be.” But he didn’t, because he knows that he can’t judge them like that.
But I think that this illustrates that it’s not just Lotor that can cross into the grey area. Everyone has a price that they are willing to pay and we found out what price Pidge’s was.
Not only that, but Lance was pretty on board too, and just because he was jealous over Allura! Talk about some pettiness. (Before Lance stans attack me, I LOVE Lance, both he and Pidge are some of my favourite characters, but you can’t deny that sending a guy to his death just because you’re jealous isn’t exactly what you’d call honourable.)
What bothered me more though—because I can understand the stress of the situation and empathise with Pidge’s viewpoint, she’s very young after all—is that after the whole thing had gone down, no one even apologised to Lotor nor thanked him for killing his own dad to save them and the rest of the universe.
Lotor also saved Keith and the entire coalition at the end of season 4, but the paladins treat all he’s done for them as if it’s some throw-away service. I understand that they’d be suspicious of him, but he’s sacrificed a lot and worked very hard for them, so the very least they could do, as the good guys they are, is acknowledge it and give him a proper apology; especially after they nearly got him killed despite his warning that things wouldn’t turn out in their favour if they trusted Zarkon. Only Allura even asked if he was all right after that whole deal, and that conversation was very brief and very awkward.
I wish at least Pidge would’ve given Lotor a proper apology, especially because she acts so indifferent and lighthearted afterwards, as if the entire thing is just forgotten. Lotor was essentially the one who provided the means to get her father back, and he distracted Zarkon so the other paladins could get to the shuttle. I dunno, I don’t blame Pidge at all for how she behaved during the whole prisoner exchange, but I do wish she’d have had a moment after the entire thing to acknowledge that she was rash and apologise/thank Lotor.
space dad? galactic father figure? sorry, I only know takashi shirogane- the paladins’ equal
Every second beat of Smooth Criminal, by Michael Jackson.
“You been hit, struck by… booth.”
I want a playlist full of these to just casually play at a party without explanation.
this sounds like it’d be the OP music for a really obscure anime
PERSONA 5 SPOILERS sorry this is actually exactly what happened
