Yes banning guns is a radical move. The only people you will be taking guns away from are law abiding citizens, no criminal is gonna say “Oh man guns are banned I guess I just can’t use them.” no they’ll get them through illegal means.
Hi yes Hello I live in a country where using guns is illegal! It’s completely illegal! The only people who get guns are the police and I’ve only ever seen them carrying them openly in London! The gun crime rate here is way lower than it is in America! Wow! And guess what! The last gun massacre we had was in 2010! The one before that was in 1987! That’s a huge gap! Why? Because of the gun ban which makes it Really Fucking Hard to get a gun! When was the last gun massacre in America? October 1st! When was the one before that? September 30th! And before that? September 14th! That’s a really short time frame! Because it’s too fucking easy for someone to take a gun from a parent or friend or family member and use it! Those Law Abiding Citizen’s means of ‘protection’ are someone else’s gateway to murdering someone!
If you look at the gun crime rate of any country that bans guns and America, you’ll see a huge difference! Because banning guns make it harder for people to GET guns! Isn’t that a fucking revelation?
Does banning guns make it impossible for people to get guns? No, sadly not. But does it diminish gun crime by a Whole Fucking Lot? Yes it does! I don’t know why some Americans can’t see that! It literally works! There is proof all around you! Please stop being so ignorant to the proof in front of you!
Back by popular demand (and despite several objections) shipping names illustrated part two. Thanks for all the suggestions, some of these I had no idea were being used!
•Its good, but its depressing and I just wanted some positivity that day
•Its something I wouldn’t want to reblog without discussing, but I have no time and/or mental energy to do that at the moment
•There are no sources
•I have seen the same post on my dash three times today and frankly, so has everyone else, adding to that is doing nothing
•Its a callout post still spreading around after the blogger who made the original offense has already apologized/done what they could to fix it
•its a harsh callout post against a mistake due to the misunderstandings of a 13-15 yr old, and I as an adult feel that this is a horrible way to do things
•It includes a phrase like: If you don’t reblog, you’re a terrible person
•IM PROUD OF THIS COMMUNITY FOR TRYING TO FIX THE CRAPPYNESS OF THE WORLD, BUT GUILTING PEOPLE INTO REBLOGGING YOUR POSTS WHEN SOME PEOPLE COME HERE FOR AN ESCAPE IS NOT HELPING
the “if you dont reblog this im judging you” is such a shitty guilt trip and it makes me not want to reblog it at all.
On CNN’s “AC360″ on Friday, without using his actual name, network justice correspondent Pamela Brown offered some insights into the shooter.
According to the report, Mercer gave his writings to a survivor of the massacre, which revealed “hatred” toward black men and his struggles with the opposite sex.
“In the middle of the shooting rampage, the gunman handed his writings to a survivor to give to police according to sources. In those pages, the shooter rambled about his hatred toward black men and how he was frustrated about being a virgin unable to find a girlfriend.”
Brown went on to discussed the anti-Christianity aspect of his crime, and how he asked the victims religions before killing them.
“So far all we’ve been able to find is on a social media page that apparently belonged to him. He said he disliked organized religion but in the writings we talked about in the piece, apparently he gave no indication other than saying he associated with the dark side.”
