Good news: Tattooers are standing up to show that melanin does not “take away half your skill sets,” proving that if something can’t be done then it’s an issue of a lazy or ignorant artist, not the client’s heritage.
Bad news: For the (many) tattooers who still lighten the images of darker skin, or delete them altogether, saying your work just “looks best on lighter skin,” I can’t change you but @tattrx definitely won’t be supporting you.
Also they used a picture that makes him look somewhat positive. It’s ridiculous how far media will go to protect white male privilege.
I think the use of the word women with the word teen also implies like she was dating someone she shouldn’t have been, like if a teacher was dating a student for example, which is not the case.
Also just looking at the tweet Teen admits (to, good job CBS) killing woman who broke up with him, police say. The last two words are the source of the information and the second half of the sentence is the justification for the crime, and they used killing, which is probably the most positive way to describe it, they didn’t say murdering, kidnapping (which he did), shooting, or gunning down for that matter, and they also didn’t say that he dump the body, which they easily could have fit in the tweet.
Again killing is the most positive word that could likely be used and then they spend almost half of the tweet talking about his justifications instead of the crime.
“Nobody ever used their tax dollars to help me!” says local man who drives on roads, gets his trash collected, has clean water, sends his kids to school, utilizes the police and fire departments, walks his dog in the park, receives mail, and also possess no sense of self reflection.
