hi I made this post bc I have never seen a post supporting Asian lgbt folks and know a fence but supporting your local gays means supporting us too, especially when we aren’t as visible as others.
I’ve grown up living in a predominantly straight white world and consumed mostly western media all my life and idk bout you but there’s not a lot of us out there in the media or the entire entertainment industry actually. Asians in western media is already cutting it fine. Asian lgbt folks in the media? there’s like 3 people I can think of off the top of my head.

When the group gets back to Earth and they show Allura around, she gets to meet all the Paladins families and she’s quite welcome by all of them. But when she gets to Keith’s shack, she says it’s nice but she’s silently going “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe he lives here! He can’t go back to living like this! I’M GIVING HIM HIS OWN WING OF THE CASTLE IF I HAVE TO!”
Keith ends up visiting each of the guys families a lot because everyone pretty much adopts him, but he spends a lot of time in the Castle of Lions since it feels like a second home at all that time in space.
Allura often shapes shifts into a human to blend in better and the paladins enjoy showing around the Earth cities.
Keith introduces Allura to chocolate and she thinks it’s the best thing Earth created.
Allura soon discovers she quite likes the forest and natural beauty of Earth. She and Keith go on a lot of hikes together.
The mice discover cheese and they believe it’s the best Earth creation ever.
Keith takes Allura on a ride on his motorcycle, and it’s not long after Allura wants to a have her own. They like to race each other a lot.
Keith and Allura do go back to the shack when they want to sit back and stargaze. Allura will admit it’s the best place for it.
1. Have them have friends! The lonely asexual story is getting really old.
2. Introverted asexuals are cool, but why not have extroverted asexuals?
3. Asexual and Aromantic are not the same thing. Try giving your character a sexless romance.
4. Or have them have sex, that’s cool too! Remember. Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction, and does not mean the character is opposed to sex.
5. Asexuality varies. If you want your character to be a victim of sexual assault that’s fine, but don’t make this true about every asexual character. Some people don’t want sex and it has nothing to do with past sexual experiences.
6. No more sociopathic asexuals, okay?
7. Don’t paint your asexual character to be the essence of innocence. You can have your asexual swear. They can be rude, like to dance dirty, have crude humour, literally! Anything! Any! Other! Character! Can! Be!
8. Your ace character can be sex repulsed, but do not have that be the defining characteristic of your character. Give them personality.
9. Do not write an ace character just to have your protagonist *suffer* because they love them, but won’t satisfy them sexually. That’s gross.
10. If your whole point of having an asexual character is to have them meet “the one” and “cure” them of Asexuality, DO NOT WRITE AN ASEXUAL CHARACTER.

And while I’m all about his mysterious-tortured-soul-loner vibe, boy knows how to laugh and get along with people on occasion:
Even though he and Lance get under each other’s skin often, they’ve been able to interact for a few minutes here and there without descending into arguing:
So I really need to learn to keep these things in mind when I write our beloved emo (possibly part Texan, most definitely part Galra) Red Paladin.
I mean, I say all of this, but you better believe the angst is still gonna be there. It’s a habit that I may never completely break ;D
I would like to add as someone who has been on here for 6 years that there comes a point where your mind ascends and you run out of fucks entirely. Like an ancient vampire, you no longer have any angst about your condition and can live freely to feed off memes and discourse knowing that nothing on here can hurt you, because you’ve seen innumerable dramas and have lost count of the friends that disappeared into deletion. I was here when superwholock was born and I was here when it died. I watched you people piss into a ball pit. You cannot get worked up on this site when you’ve seen eternity and brought it into yourself. I recommend staying here because at some point you learn to control the matrix and this blue hell becomes fun again.
So I was on the train and this little girl (about 5years old) was sitting across from me, her mother had her headphones in and was ignoring the little girl.
The girl was rambling about random things and started playing i spy with no one.
She then said “I spy with my little eye something that’s green” and I pointed at my shirt that was green.
She smiled and said “I spy something that’s white” and I pointed to my white shoes, she then said the colour red and at first I couldn’t find anything red so I pulled out a red school book from my bag.
This continued for a few turns and then she said brown, I looked around me and in my bag but couldn’t find anything, the girl still expecting me to find something brown started looking around too when the man two rows down pulled out a brown phone case and pointed to it.
The young girl then said blue and another lady pointed to her bracelet, we all silently continued playing until the whole train carriage was playing along, the whole time her mother didn’t even realise.
