I finished my Voltron: Legendary Defender set!! I will have prints available at Fanime and Animazement this weekend! Voltron has become one of my all-time favorite shows and I’ve been really excited to share these with everyone~
If I have leftover prints after this weekend I will put them up on my Etsy.
A simple guide to picking a great color palette. No matter what the colors are, using colors that are certain distances from each other on the color wheel result in a great contrast of colors. The simple color schemes shown above are used in the most popular logos, posters, websites, paintings, and even movies and television.
No, seriously. If you don’t have money to help out an artist financially, the second best thing is to reblog all the things you like. While liking it does tell the artist that “hey I really like this!” It does jack shit because the only ones who will see that are me and you.
Why do you think there are so SO many posts made by people that are literally summed down to “please reblog my artwork I need the notes!”? Because no one reblogs artwork. Unless you’re a ridiculously popular blog with thousands of followers, you’ll only end up getting 1 or no reblogs.
SO HELP OUT ARTISTS AND PLEASE REBLOG OUR ART, BECAUSE WE REALLY NEED THE VIEWS ;V;)/
god, artist just seem to demand more and more every passing year on tumblr. first they whine about not getting notes, now they whine about WELL I DONT WANT LIKES I NEED REBLOGS ;////
nobody likes ur posts out of malice, and if people arent reblogging your art, oh, idk, theres probably a REASON to it. just sayin’.
“GOD ARTISTS DEMAND SO MUCH OF US! We gotta rebloooog, we gotta press a button more! THIS IS TORTURE! HALP! YOU’RE RUINING MY BLOG’S AESTHETICS WITH YOUR DEMANDING! bububu!”
So artists whine ? Because reblogging art would like, break all of your fingers right ? This is just a tip for people who want to HELP artists. It literally says on the message that it’s an alternative for people who wish they could support an artist financially but can’t. We are not DEMANDING anything.
IF you want to help, reblog instead of like. If not, don’t. simple as that.
The thing is, our art is eventually what puts a plate of food in our table. It’s LITERALLY OUR WHOLE LIFELIHOOD! So excuse ME if im spreading a message that could just as well benefit both the artist and the viewers.
IM SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A WHINER!
¬¬ just sayin’
Sharing is caring, and in this case it helps a lot!~
i just dont get when people post a bunch of beautifully worked on, completed art and all it says under is like ‘from twitter’ like?? why do these not get posts of their own each??? is twitter seriously your main platform for your art???
I really dig how Hollywood is starting to figure out how to conserve these really stylized 2D looks in 3D animated films I hope we see more like this in the future
probably the best thing about them is that they’ve adapted a look that’s detailed but not realistic
you can see patterns in the clothing and texture in the hair but not every single pore on captain underpants’ face
Why do people worry about this on their free time
cuz we care about animation? and what to see it get better? why even ask this question
