A friend and I were having a discussion about gun violence and such, probably about 2-3 years ago, and he asked me, “what do you think the largest mass murder was in us history” and I was like, “Virginia Tech right?”
And he said, “Wounded Knee. People like to think of it as some war theater, like it was a battle, but hundreds of innocent native Americans lost their lives for no reason than the bloodthirst of a couple white soldiers jacked into a frenzy.”
I always forget Wounded Knee. I think everyone else does too.

hey like… if ur cishet and a lgbt+ person tells you that youre being homophobic/transphobic/whatever…… Listen To Them. if a trans person wants to have a conversation about how your actions or thoughts are transphobic and harmful, listen to them. if a gay person tells you that you’re being homophobic, listen to them. don’t hide behind excuses or weasel your way out of accepting your dumbass prejudice, dont try to say ‘i support bi people but i wouldnt date one’ and then refuse to listen to actual fucking bi people who try to educate you. i shouldnt have to justify my existence, or the existence of the lgbt+ community to you.
